The Ice Cube has melted completely after 9 days, 16 hours and 20 minutes.

The ICE CUBE experiment launched by National Geographic magazine with the aim to get the attention on global warming danger, it ended on Thursday morning, 12th February. Unfortunately, the daily temperatures of approximately 14 degrees registered in Bucharest between 5th and 8th February confirmed the real danger of the increasingly global warming danger, announced from 2004 in a special issue of National Geographic magazine. According to ANM, in Bucharest, the normal temperature for first 14days of February should have been maximum 4 degrees and minimum minus 3 degrees.
The winner of the golden ingot worth 10.000 euro will be announced on 2 March on www.natgeo.ro and in the March issue of National Geographic magazine. As it was communicated at the beginning of the contest, the person who estimated best the time that the ice cube will melt completely, will win the money.
