The magazines mami and mamica de azi published by Sanoma Hearst, hold together a market share of 61% on the parenting magazines segment, according to BRAT data on 2008’ fourth quarter.
Mami magazine still holds the absolute leader position with 17.862 sold copies in period of October – December 2008 and 151.000 readers per issue, according to SNA (October 2007 – October 2008), being the main source of information for mothers and future mothers offering its readers the best advices from renowned in children’s health, nutrition, child’s psychology and education.
Launched on the market in December 2007, mamica de azi has sales average of 16.288 issues for 2008 fourth quarter and managed to impose on the profile magazines market with the help of an attractive content.
